34 image posts, three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), each written for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. The mix: 14 listicles, 8 how-to tips, 4 trust posts, 4 trendy posts and 4 seasonal posts. Built from a review of the top Kingston-area dental practices and the New York profiles studied for Walden Dental NY, in Kingston Smiles NY's own voice: honest, conservative care from Dr. Ibrahim Sayeed on Locust Street. No medical advice or medication information, and only 8 posts carry a website link. Every caption is new, so nothing repeats Walden Dental NY's posts.

What the top Kingston-area practices do

We picked the practices with the most Google reviews in Kingston, Lake Katrine, Woodstock and Saugerties, then read their Facebook and Instagram profiles while signed in on 26 October 2026. Review counts and follower counts are what each profile showed that day.

What we learned

  • No Kingston practice has a strong social presence. The bar is low, so a consistent, useful feed stands out fast.
  • Competitors lean on awareness days and team photos, which get almost no engagement.
  • Nobody posts listicles, myth vs fact, cost transparency or local benefits (CSEA, Kingston Trust Fund).
  • Reviews across the area keep mentioning nervous patients and people who stayed away for years.

We borrow

  • Simple tips with a clear hook (Oppenheimer, County Dental)
  • Benefits reminders at the right time of year (Hurley Ave)
  • From the New York research: numbered listicles, myth vs fact, review cards, “save this” and “comment below” prompts
  • One consistent 4:5 branded template

Our own angle

  • Honest, conservative care: “your natural teeth are always best”
  • Dr. Sayeed's real numbers: 4,000+ root canals, 100+ implants
  • Clear costs: written plans with pricing before treatment
  • Local: CSEA and Kingston Trust Fund, Kingston to Saugerties and Woodstock
  • Judgment-free for people who've stayed away

Strategy

The honest, helpful dentist in Kingston

Kingston's dental profiles post holidays and awareness days. Kingston Smiles NY will post what people actually need: clear answers, honest costs, local benefits and a dentist who explains everything. Different days and different captions from Walden Dental NY, so followers of both never see the same post twice.

“Your natural teeth are always best.”

Dr. Ibrahim Sayeed's own words, from the website. Every post in this calendar points back to them.

  • 1Conservative care: treatment only when it truly helps
  • 2A written plan with pricing before anything starts

Design templates

Four layouts, one look

Every post uses one of these layouts, so the feed looks consistent. All are 1080 × 1350 px (4:5 portrait), images only, in Kingston Smiles colors: ink navy #0f131f, slate #35415b, teal #52cbcb, light gray-blue #f2f4f7, with coral #f85a5a from the logo as a small accent only. Headlines in EB Garamond, text in Public Sans (the website's fonts). Keep text inside a 60 px margin.

Posting guidelines

Rules for everyone who posts

HIPAA first
  • Before/after Smile Stories only with a signed HIPAA authorization that covers social media. Crop to teeth and lips, no names, initials or dates. If no authorized case is ready, run the written fallback post.
  • No real patients in any image. Lifestyle photos use stock or AI models that are never presented as patients.
  • Never post X-rays, charts, appointment screens or anything with a name, date of birth or treatment detail.
  • Never confirm that someone is a patient. When people comment or review, reply with general thanks and invite them to call. Don't mention their visit or treatment.
  • Review cards quote only public Google review lines that mention no treatment. No reviewer names, initials, photos or star graphics. Confirm the practice is comfortable reusing them.
No medical advice
The social media manager is not a dentist, so posts share only general, sourced information: no diagnosis, no treatment instructions for symptoms, no medication or sedation information. When someone describes a symptom or asks about their own case in comments or messages, reply: “Thanks for asking! Every mouth is different, so please call us at (845) 336-5855 and we'll take a look.” For urgent pain from existing patients, the website asks them to call the office directly rather than use the appointment form.
Brand voice
Warm, calm and plain-spoken. Honest, never pushy: no fake urgency, no “limited time” deals, no fear tactics. Explain dental terms in everyday words. Light emoji on Facebook and Instagram, almost none on LinkedIn.
Who we serve
Teens and adults from Kingston, Saugerties, Woodstock, Hurley, Lake Katrine and nearby. Don't use young-child imagery or “kids' dentist” language. Clear braces are not promoted.
Keep it separate from Walden
Same dentist, two practices. Every caption here is written fresh. Never copy a Walden Dental NY post to these profiles, and don't cross-promote the two offices in captions.
One image size for every post
  • Every image and every carousel slide: 1080 × 1350 px, 4:5 portrait, exported as JPG or PNG in sRGB.
  • Instagram and Facebook: single image or carousel. LinkedIn: the same slides as a PDF document carousel. X: slide 1 only.
  • Images only: no Reels, video or Stories this year.
  • Keep text and logo inside a 60 px margin; on Instagram keep key text out of the top and bottom 75 px, which the profile grid crops.
  • Headlines in EB Garamond, supporting text in Public Sans, at least 36 px so they read on a phone.
Images
Use the image prompt in each topic for licensed stock or AI-generated visuals, then add the on-image text in design. Keep AI images photorealistic and simple, and never present them as the real office or real patients. Dr. Sayeed appears only through the portrait already on the website. No team photos and no video. Colors: ink navy #0f131f, slate #35415b, teal #52cbcb, light gray-blue #f2f4f7; coral #f85a5a only as a small accent. No star graphics next to reviews.
Facts you can use
Only these, as the website states them: Dr. Sayeed has performed more than 4,000 root canals and placed more than 100 dental implants; DDS from University of the Pacific; residency at NY-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center; member of the ADA and NYSDA; accepts most major PPO plans and works directly with CSEA and Kingston Trust Fund dental benefits; CareCredit and Cherry financing; in-house payment plans for qualifying patients; HSA and FSA accepted; digital X-rays; written plans with pricing. Never hard-code a Google rating or review count.
Claims to avoid
  • No “decades of experience”: the Services page says it, but the About page gives no years. Leave it out until the client confirms.
  • No “early morning and evening appointments” (the Office Policies page says so, but hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 AM–5 PM).
  • No statistics such as success rates or percentages, and no claims linking gums to heart disease or diabetes.
  • No “filling fast” or “only a few spots left”. Never promise treatment can be finished before 31 December.
  • Insurance: “Many plans use calendar-year limits. Check your plan.” Never state a plan's maximum or rules.
Fix before posting
  • The Google Business Profile shows Tuesday to Thursday, 8 AM–5 PM. You told us Tuesday and Wednesday only. Update Google so patients don't call on Thursday.
  • The website's Office Policies page mentions evening appointments. Update it to match the real hours.
  • The first-visit checklist says “arrive 10–15 minutes early” but Office Policies says 20–25. This calendar uses 10–15; pick one.

Placeholders to fill
Replace [Google Review Link] with https://maps.app.goo.gl/xo4ezkRPp2Hmuw2d8 when you post. Instagram and X profiles don't exist yet: create them before 28 October, or post to Facebook and LinkedIn first and add Instagram and X when ready. Use “link in bio” on Instagram, where captions can't hold live links.
Posting times (ET)
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: LinkedIn 8:30 AM, X 9:00 AM, Facebook 10:00 AM, Instagram 12:00 PM. Holiday greetings (25 Nov, 25 Dec, 1 Jan) can be scheduled in advance. After four weeks, move each slot to the time each platform's insights show works best.
Hashtags
Instagram: 5 or 6 per post, mixing local (#KingstonNY #UlsterCounty #HudsonValley), brand (#KingstonSmilesNY) and topic tags. Facebook: none. LinkedIn: three at the end. X: none.
Approval workflow
Design visuals one week ahead. Send each week's posts to the client for approval by the Thursday before. Status steps: Drafted, Designed, Client review, Approved, Scheduled, Published.
After posting
Reply to comments within one business day using the HIPAA reply rule. Every Monday, note reach, saves, link clicks and calls for the previous week, so January can lean into what works.
